Key milestone today achieved- making the commitment to myself to do one hour exercise a day.
The cause of this a report written here in Cambridge stating workers who sit for 8 hours a day need 1 hour a day exercise. NOT the 30 mins a day 5 times a week which is better known.
So this report frightened the bejaysus out of me
- Cardiac disease
All INCREASE if not addressed for those sitting at their desks 8 hours a day- sometimes I spend 10 or 12…..,
So my hours of work are 37.8 per week at my level this is nigh impossible to achieve but 10 plus 5 days a week is getting stupid.
So today post holiday where I walked or walk/jogged 5 miles every day and feel great – I have committed to doing this rest of my life change. I owe it in respect to my family , my work and above all me.
